Safe Visitor Process and FAQs
A SafeVisitor background check is required for anyone who visits Hamilton Southeastern District schools. The process also includes our anti-bullying training that is required by state law. Once your background check is completed and cleared, you are allowed to visit or volunteer at our schools for three years. You will also receive a “SafeVisitor Badge” via email from email@example.com that can be used to expedite the sign-in process at all HSE Schools.
When visiting, please have ready either a hard copy of your SafeVisitor badge or simply pull the badge up on your smartphone. The school receptionist will scan the barcode on your badge and print out a name tag for you to wear while in the building. Please remember to turn in your name tag when you check out of the building.
